This is the raw carrot cake Aunt Peggy made. It was delicious and functional--it stuck to the plate--perfect for a toddler! (See post below)
Of course, her favorite present was the stylish ribbon and bag from Suzy. (Mama seemed taken with the multicultural ornament inside, but then again, she is strange in her preferences.)
