What could be better on a special holiday than . . . la pop! Perhaps Abuelo's special bread--he made a mini loaf just for Alice. She ate the ENTIRE thing herself. I'd say she understands opening gifts now! She also figured how to postpone bedtime by offering Abuela photo ops in front of the tree.
