Tamales

Oh. My. Word. We did it!!!







Much googling by many people went in to making this meal possible. Peggy and Alice picked the greens from the garden. We found a fat free masa recipe using mashed potatoes instead of oil. We found a recipe for Guatemalan tamale filling. And we found a recipe for sauce. They weren't as hard to make as I thought, and while not perfectly fluffy (to
my expectations) they were AWESOME !!!!!!!!
