Tom's folks came to visit Alice, and since they like to walk in the graveyard at home (for the shade and the paved paths), we took them to a spectacular one near us. Which prompted many inappropriate jokes from yours truly about letting them spend time with people closer to their own age.

I guess the joke was on me!!!

Nuture over nature. Note the similar poses.

Alice with her beloved grandparents. Burnham was fascinating on the last visit, and slightly intimidating this visit (for no apparent reason). Some friends have described their kids becoming Dada-centric at around a year old, eschewing the company of all other men. Perhaps Alice is precocious in this? We'll see how she reacts to Papa and Uncle Curtis next week.

Let's hope this means that she also takes after her father in getting things filed promptly.
