Directions

Alice's latest thing is to ask us to give her directions. She will come up to us ask tell us, "Give me directions." We are supposed to say something along the lines of, "When you back out of the driveway, turn left. Go three blocks, the right, then left. Third exit at the rotary, left at the yellow house, then another left at Blueberry Hill." Hilarious.

She's been wroking out a lot of her tranisition anxiety (and I truly beieve her adoption history) in her play at home. She'l hand me a baby, and tell me to tell the baby, "Tell her her Mama's going to be right back." It's fascinating in the endless repetition.
