Hard Times

Tom is tolerating the treatments well and can drive, but had a hard morning yesterday nonetheless. Alice had a hard morning today, culminating in a self-induced* fall with her head smacking the ground so hard other teachers turned on the playground to see what made that sound. So, Mama got a call and off to the hospital we went to check for a concussion. Alice asked if she was going to get chemotherapy. What confusing times we are living. She's fine. We're all fine.

*There was some kind of altercation, a teacher was talking to her, and she did her 'throw myself backwards in protest move' as best I can tell from the version of events we heard. Not sure whether getting a popsicle and to go home with Mama is going to indicate whether this should or should not be repeated.
