So, when Alice was 3 she dictated the following letter to Santa:

Dear Santa,

Don't come in the house
Don't leave any presents
Don't

You can still eat the cookies and drink the milk.

Now fast forward two years. Alice spotted this pram at a local store:





And she announced that THIS is what Santa will be bringing her this year. And for months, she has firmly held to her conviction that Santa will come thru. I have tried to explain that Santa has to bring presents to all the children and so may not have enough money for that exact pram. Maybe, I say, Santa will find one that is similar. We even went online and picked out a similar one that Alice decreed awesome.

This morning, as we were on our way to school, we passes the street with the shop that has the pram. Alice said to us, remember the street with the baby carriage? Santa is going to bring me that.

When we asked how she knew, she replied:

You know how Santa can get in people's houses? When the lights are off and the people go
home, Santa will go in the door and get it for me!

GAH! Christmas morning will be interesting! Stay tuned . . .
