Back to school

Yesterday, we went to the MFA for a last vacation activity before starting school and work today.


Alice did great! She fussed at the beginning but then got into the swing of things. Certainly, the Nudes of Degas held her interest!


I had a terrific day back at work, still feeling my vacation glow! Here is an example of what I do:

When we were talking about returning to school/work, Alice said she had to get back to work, too. What is your work? I asked? Rubbing backs!

Alice hasn't napped at school for years. Her teacher has figured out how to put her energy to good use and has her helping rub other kids backs at malting. Before the winter break, Alice put three kids to sleep in one day!

She wasn't excited by the idea of going back to school, but she was interested in seeing her friends and had a terrific transition this morning.

She has also slept all the way thru the night the past few nights. Our big girl.
